After closing of the present project, in Gorna Oriahovitsa, the created structure will continue to exist and develop itself - sheltered home for people with intellectual retardation, which is a result from the sustainable partnership of the local authority and Centre “Maria” with the financial support of the European Community.
For the first time the municipality of Gorna Oriahovitsa and Centre “Maria” will provide a social service together. This will be a new stage of the existing since 2000 partnership. The model for successful cooperation between the local authority and a civil organization in practice is our joint “ownership” of the results and will build over it and enlarge the offering of social services in the community. |
